Whether your a recreational dancer or looking to further your dancing career the Dance Academy has assisted many students to go on and pursue their professional goals. We also have a full service dancer boutique for all your dancers needs.
The Dance Academy is in its 20th year of being Bloomfield hills premier dance studio. With its professional staff of instructors, and a warm and nurturing environment. Dancers are trained in a variety of styles of dance; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Contemporary. We cater to all ages and all levels of dancers. From the beginner through advanced. The Dance Academy also has 3 competition teams. And offers adult classes as well. Come join us for a complimentary lesson.
Competition Classes
The DABH Competition Team is for the dancer who wants a challenge and to gain experience in performance and to continue to grow as a dancer.
Our Competition Teams perform at local events. Dream Cruise, Bloomfield Hills Open House, Bowers Farm, Wayne State Dance Day as well as 2 Regional Competitions per year.
This is a positive experience that builds teamwork and friendships along the way. Auditions are held every May.
